This magnitude 6.6 globular is found in Ophiuchus. It is 13400 light years away. Also known as NGC 6254.

This shot was taken at f/3.3 with the 12" LX200 and 416XT CCD at the ARGO site in central Oregon on June27, 1998. It is a single 2 minute exposure.
