M33 - The Triangulum Galaxy

Also known as NGC 598, this spiral galaxy with bright knots is found in the constellation Triangulum. It has a magnitude of 5.7 and a size of 64.0 x 35.0 arc-minutes. This is like two full moons side be side on the sky.

This RGB data was taken remotely from Dark Sky New Mexico with a 106mm f/5 Takahashi refractor and an ASI2600 camera. Four nights were used to collect more than 13 hours of exposure: 10/17/2022, 10/18/2022, 10/19/2022 and 10/25/2022.
