NGC 7741 is a barred spiral galaxy found in the constellation Pegasus (the Winged Horse). It has a magnitude of 11.4, and is 3.8' by 2.9' in size.
This shot was fun to process. The luminance was sharpened with CCDSharp. There were a couple of bloomed stars which I fixed in Photoshop. The LRGB layering was also done in Photoshop. The data was taken Halloween night October 31, 2002 with the 12" LX200, AO7, and ST-8E camera from my home dome on Mistletoe Rd, Monmouth Oregon.
