NGC 3718 is a spiral galaxy in Ursa Major. It has some interesting neighbors. In the upper left is NGC 3729. There is also a nice little group of galaxies below at 15th magnitude. NGC 3718 shines at magnitude of 11.4, and is 8.1 by 3.9 arc-minutes in size.
This image is a composite of ten 2x2 binned 2 minute exposures. Taken with the ST-8E and 12" LX200 at f/6.3.
